School Principal – Lisa Beaumont  A.R.A.D.   R.A.D.R.T.S.   A.N.A.T.D  D.D.E (TD MT)

Lisa started dancing at the age of three years old and trained at both the North Cheshire Theatre College in Manchester and her Mother’s school, the Diane Beaumont School of Dancing. As a senior student, Lisa trained at the Royal Academy of Dance in London where she gained her Registered Teacher Status and became an Associate of the Academy (Advanced Ballet). Lisa is also a Registered Teacher of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (Modern & Tap) and the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (tap)

Although Lisa performed in many shows, it was teaching that became her passion and after working freelance, she started her school from scratch in the village of Cliddesden Hampshire.  ‘The Lisa Beaumont School of Ballet’ has become a very successful, friendly school with an exemplary examination record.

As well as teaching at her own school, Lisa also works extensively with Basingstoke Ice Rink where she teaches artistry and choreography to all the skaters from recreational beginners (both children and adults) to British Championship medallists.

School Show:  'Songs from the Shows' took place on Saturday 26^th & Sunday 27^th March 2011  at Queen Mary’s Hall,
Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke. We raised £2,010 for the Children’s Ward at Basingstoke Hospital.

Charlotte Burns Deuchar has recently successfully auditioned for a part in Alice in Wonderland at the Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke – 13^th – 17^th April 2010.
